Okay, of all things I post about now, it’s an airing date and not a  chapter upload~~ for that I’m terribly sorry~~~ BUT BUT BUT!!!!

Is it possible we have an airing date for this novel turned drama at last? 

[麻雀] – Sparrow releases new stills

Li Yi Feng’s upcoming republican-ish era drama, Sparrow has released some new stills. Li Yi Feng always looks good in a suite…but I’m not sure if that will be enough to draw me in to watch the drama.

Anyone have personal views on this?

Good tidings dear readers and welcome to my first post back from partial hiatus ^.^

One of my all time favourite youth dramas from last year was Tornado Girl, and in large part it was thanks to the appearance of Yang Yang that I even started watching it. However, the story drew me in quickly and set me forth in my quest to finish the novels themselves. 

HIATUS Update

Hello everyone!!!

I know that many of you are anxious for me to get back in to translating Nirvana in Fire, and I promise that I haven’t forgotten about it!! Life has just started to take over now that I’m in work experience placement 8-5, 5 days a week, so finding time has been difficult as I settle in to a new routine.

BUT!! I have now found 30min a day where I can work on these translations, so I WILL have them out, just very slowly. In the mean time, if there are any specific sections of the drama that you would like explained more, or want to know what the original novel has written, then don’t hesitate to message me.

I’ll work on translating parts that way to sate your appetites in the mean time if it helps! Otherwise, please look out for my future uploads!

I’m extremely sorry it has taken 1/3 of the year for me to update, but sometimes life just runs away with you~~~~

I’ll also be slowly bringing back my posts about new dramas, or dramas that I’ve recently fallen in love with. As you can tell, I focus mainly on Chinese and Korean dramas. If there is any in particular that you would like me to look at or compare, please let me know ^.^

If you’ve been reading my blog lately, then you know that I’m just a tad obsessed with with this novel by Gu Man. After all the hype with Yang Yang taking on the role of Xiao Nai in the drama version, I was holding out hope among hope that he would reprise the role in the movie version…

[NOTICE] Translations Hiatus

Hi everyone!

Thank you for those that have started following my blog and leaving comments. This is just a notice to let you know the reasons as to why the releases are slowing down a little.

Coming up to the Christmas season, I know you all have more time to spare to read translations and I would love to be able to provide them for you…

For Nirvana in Fire specifically, the next few chapters become a bit more difficult in the way that various things are phrased, so it is taking longer than I expected. I am also preparing to go away over the Christmas/New Year period and will be without access to my laptop/internet.

This unfortunately means that from roughly next week onwards, I will be on a one month hiatus with translations. As I upload as I translate, I don’t have a backlog of chapters to release. For this I’m sorry~~.

I hope you will all be able to bare with me and return to reading Nirvana in Fire in 2016 ^.^
