Is it possible we have an airing date for this novel turned drama at last?
Now I’m not fluent in Chinese by any means, so am in the process of getting things translated. However, if my usual understanding of Baidu pages is correct…there MAY be…possibly be and airing date around mid-July on two networks.
If any of my lovely readers can interpret this for me:
The two networks…I THINK are Jiangsu TV and Dragon TV. Please correct me if I’m wrong, I would love to improve my Chinese~~

I’m still not sure how I feel about Zheng Huang to be honest…but I’ll still follow the drama just for Yang Yang!

Haha I feel you! I’m surprised that the date is coming up so fast but it was always slated for China’s summer run of youth dramas this year. Along with Tornado Girl 2 on Hunan~~ I should probably find some updates for that as well ^.^
I’m glad it’s July because by then I’ll be off work xD so sleepless nights for Yang Yang hahaha

Most likely the July date for “A Smile .. ” has been pushed out to August. The TV stations of the different provinces are now scheduled to broadcast PS (patriotic series). For July, Jiangsu TV will broadcast 战场 and 亮剑 . Dragon TV will broadcast 检察官. I haven’t checked to see how many episodes these PS have. Jiangsu and Dragon TV may have to re-align their post-PS broadcast schedule.
I find Zheng Shuang’s acting unnatural sometimes despite her popularity. Her face is pretty but her voice is too high-pitched. Even screechy at times. Her singing is not to my taste either.

Aaah really? That’s too bad 😦 I was really looking forward to it…
I don’t really have an opinion on her since the only drama I’ve watched with her in it is The Three Heroes and Five Gallants… which I never completed. I really disliked her character there.
