Hello everyone!!!
I know that many of you are anxious for me to get back in to translating Nirvana in Fire, and I promise that I haven’t forgotten about it!! Life has just started to take over now that I’m in work experience placement 8-5, 5 days a week, so finding time has been difficult as I settle in to a new routine.
BUT!! I have now found 30min a day where I can work on these translations, so I WILL have them out, just very slowly. In the mean time, if there are any specific sections of the drama that you would like explained more, or want to know what the original novel has written, then don’t hesitate to message me.
I’ll work on translating parts that way to sate your appetites in the mean time if it helps! Otherwise, please look out for my future uploads!
I’m extremely sorry it has taken 1/3 of the year for me to update, but sometimes life just runs away with you~~~~
I’ll also be slowly bringing back my posts about new dramas, or dramas that I’ve recently fallen in love with. As you can tell, I focus mainly on Chinese and Korean dramas. If there is any in particular that you would like me to look at or compare, please let me know ^.^
For now~~~ annyeong~~
10 points to Gryffindor if you know who these two are xD
OMG welcome back!! 😀
So glad even if the translations are slow or don’t come out at all lol
AND I just watched the drama haha Sooo Gu Hai & Bai Luo Yin aka Jingyu and Weizhou!
I marathoned through it and finished it in 1 day 🙂 I also just watched 1 hour ago the subbed behind-the-scenes videos ~
Now I’m sad cause it was banned… the second season and the last 3 episodes (?) that is

Yeh, I marathoned the drama AND reading the full novels LOL so I’m a bit better off than most international fans. Second season, at least with current production company/actors will never be made, as for the 3 episodes….well currently, fans are speculating whether the DVD version being released in Taiwan will have it or not. No current release date yet though.
GH & BLY are such characters. If you get the chance, definitely try reading the novel. There’s so much more to the story than what was able to be portrayed in the drama~~

Wooow I really should go and learn Chinese (I even already have learning books xD) but I’m so lazy…
I’m so very sad… I didn’t look it up too much but don’t quite get why the government banned it oO After all it’s not the first BL drama/movie as far as I know >< Yeah I heard about those speculations too! Hopefully it's true…
Haha there's always more in the novel so I was hoping to read it but the translation is not very far I think… So I'll just wait a bit and see ~

Hi, so very glad you’re back! Thanks for your translations))) I really loved Nirvana in fire, and hope to read some more of it, though I don’t know chinese (((
If you have some time could you tell me if there is some more interactions between Mei Changsu and Jinrui? I’d really like them to be friends again though it’s quite difficult. In the drama Mei Changsu sees him off to Chu, and they meet a little again at the end. Is there something more in the novel?
Thanks a lot;-)))
